Annual Barleywine Meeting January 18

Hi All,
This month's WSB meeting will be held on Sunday, January 18, the middle of MLK weekend, and this is the annual barley wine meeting at Mary Earl's place between Poulsbo and Silverdale. Start time is noon, last call is 5PM, everybody out by 7. Plan on arranging a designated driver or plan on hanging around a couple hours after your last beer before driving home.

Again, if global warming causes us to cancel this meeting too we'll let you know ASAP.

Bring any barley wines or strong ale/old ale bw facsimiles that you'd like to show off. Please RSVP to Mary at:

Also, feel free to bring some putluck type dishes, reheating only or very minor prep/cleanup necessary would be best. Vic might have some suggestions.

Bring several tasting glasses for yourself. It's always fun to have 3-5 bws in front of you for comparison. Mary has a bunch of old barley wines at her house plus Vic, Alan, and Craig plan to bring some selections.
